Hello and good morning year 2/3

 

I hope you have been having a nice week so far! We've now made it to Wednesday, the half way point in the week and the weather is starting to look much nicer again now, we should even get some nice weather for V.E. day on Friday.

It's also been great to see such amazing science experiments from AP and some amazing hats from MH and PH! A big well-done to MA LB LH PH MH AP and MT for getting on TT Rockstars!

 

English

Year 2 - I have attached a link to an online lesson about identifying the key features of a character description. I would like you all to follow the lesson and have a go at the activities.

Year 3 - I have attached a link to an online lesson about identifying and understanding the features of a instruction text. I would like you all to follow the lesson and have a go at the activities.

 

Maths

Year 2 - I have attached a Powerpoint for you to have a look at and some questions to have a go at about counting the sides of 2D shapes. As a challenge, do you think you can complete the challenge sheet and solve the word problems?Year 3 - I have attached a Powerpoint for you to have a look at and some questions to have a go at about the 8 times table. As a challenge, do you think you can complete the challenge sheet and solve the word problems?

Also everyone try to get on TT rockstars as well so you can practice your times tables!

 

PHSE

Since we are all so amazing, I would like you all to have a go at completing the balloons about how amazing we are! You can then decorate it to make it look as amazing and unique as you.

 

Science

I would like you all to get curious as you become a scientist and conduct an experiment to make your cornflour slime! As a challenge, can you answer the questions about your experiment? Don't forget to send pictures into [email protected] so we can see how awesome your experiments are!
