Good morning year 2/3

I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Did you get up to anything nice? What books did you read over the weekend and did you discuss them with an adult? I have really enjoyed having a chat with those of you I could get hold of and finding out what you had been up to during your lockdowns last week.

 

Reading

I would like you to continue with your summer reading challenge from last week, I have attached the link for you.

Maths

Year 2 - I have attached a Powerpoint for you to have a look at and some questions to have a go at about making patterns with 2D shapes. As a challenge, do you think you can complete the challenge sheet and solve the problems?

Year 3 - I have attached a link to a lesson on non-unit fractions of amounts. I would like you to follow the lesson.

Also everyone try to get on TT rockstars as well so you can practice your times tables!

 

Art

I have attached a task for you to try where you will be making your own under the sea water colour painting.
