Good morning year 2/3

I hope you are all well and  had a nice half term? I can't believe how nice and sunny the weather has been recently. Yesterday was another lovely, sunny day and I hope you all had a great day and managed to enjoy the sun! It was great to see PH, MH, LR and JS on TTRockstars over half term. Yesterday was a special day as SpaceX launched a spaceship to the International Space Station (ISS).

 

PE

I would like you all to start the day off with a Joe Wickes workout to get your bodies and brains working, or you can do some outdoor exercise and enjoy the weather.

 

English

Year 2 - I have attached a spelling and grammar sheet for you to try. If you are feeling like more of a challenge then have a go at the 3 star sheets.

Maths

Year 2 - I have attached a Powerpoint for you to have a look at and some questions to have a go at about adding and subtracting 10s. As a challenge, do you think you can complete the challenge sheet and solve the problems?

Year 3 - I have attached a Powerpoint for you to have a look at and some questions to have a go at about adding and subtracting 100s. As a challenge, do you think you can complete the challenge sheet and solve the problems?

Also everyone try to get on TT rockstars as well so you can practice your times tables!

 

Science

Since the launch of the SpaceX mission to the International Space Station you will be becoming astronauts and exploring the Solar System just like the crew Dragon. You will need to find out information for your own space mission and research information on different planets. Have a go at filling in the fact hunt sheets to decide which planet you'd like to visit. You can use the fact cards to research information or have a go at doing it yourself using the internet.
