English time

Share the 'The Three Bears' story again.

Look at the power point or watch a version on youtube.

Talk about the characters and what happens at the beginning.

Now talk about what happens when Goldilocks goes into the house.

What does she do? Eats Baby Bear's porridge...brake Baby Bear's chair...fall asleep in Baby Bear's bed...

Retell parts of the story using different voices.

Today in your book draw a story map of Goldilock's journey.

This example might give you some ideas!

Look at this story map

After drawing the pictures add some words.

Copy them from this story map...

Find the word and copy it

Maths time

Remember to keep counting everyday!

Sing some counting rhymes together like 'One, two, three, four, five...' and 'Five Little Ducks'

Count to 10, 20, or 80 together in ones (1,2,3,4...) Then in tens to 80 (grown up say 10, children echo 10, repeat saying and echoing up to 80)

Count to 20 forwards and backwards. Then ask some questions - tell me 1 more than 4, 8, 12, 20...)

Now play some games ordering numbers.

After lunch

Time to share some stories!

I know how much you love listening to 'Winnie the Witch' stories so here are a few you could listen to!

Things to do during the afternoon:

  • letter formation (pack)
  • reading time (little books)
  • keep looking for signs of spring
  • choose another activity from the topic folder
  • try something from the PE/mindful folder

Look after each other and happy learning!
