Thursday 23rd April
Hello year 2/3 and happy St George's Day!
It was great to see such wonderful acrostic poems yesterday from MH and PH, they had such lovely messages in the poems about looking after the planet and looking after each other! Also a big shout out to TA MH PH AP JR for having a go at TT Rockstars yesterday.
I hope you have all been able to stay safe and enjoy the sun, has anyone done any drawings or paintings for the NHS and key workers? If you have then don't forget to send them through to [email protected] As it's Thursday don't forget to clap for the NHS and key workers at 8pm. I've been able to hear someone playing the song 'Things can only get better' by D:REAM from my home, apparently it can be heard around Nottingham!
Have a go at following Joe Wickes workout https://www.thebodycoach.com/blog/pe-with-joe-1254.html
Year 2 I would like you to read part 2 of the story about Pandora's Box, completing the tasks you would like to on your way. As a challenge, can you label the picture using expanded noun phrases to describe the features?
Year 3 I would like you to have a go at completing the grammar games, you can choose which tasks to complete. As a challenge, can you draw a picture of a Troll and label it using your own descriptions?
Year 2 follow the link https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/tags/z7s22sg/year-2-lessons/1 and have a go at showing numbers to 100 in different ways. You can choose which tasks to do, I wonder if anyone can do them all? As a challenge can you make a number matching game by ordering different groups of objects which are within 100?

After wards i'd like you to have a go at following the video to draw a Gregosaurus https://youtu.be/bhyCxVPb1qU and have a go at changing it into a dragon!
