Phonics time
Today we will recap all the sounds we have learning this week.
Phase 2: Rabbits, Mice and Squirrels
Read the flashcards, saying the sounds.
Read the tricky words: I, no, go, to, the, into
Now write them in your book.
Recap h, b, h and ff
Letter formation - write the letters h, b and f in your book.
Listen to the sounds in the words and stretch them, then write them in your book
hat, bat, fin, huff
Phase 3:
Foxes, Owls , Hedgehogs Read the flashcards, saying the sounds.
Read he, she, we, me, be, was, are, see, his, him
Now write them in your book.
Today recap the sounds we have been learning this week: sh, ch, th, ng
Letter formation - write sh, ch, th, ng
Listen to the sounds in the words and stretch them, then write them in your book eg. ch-o-p
Write chop, shop, then, ring
English time
Rabbits, Mice and Squirrels - practice blending some words
Foxes, Owls and Hedgehogs Captions to read
To finish our learning about 'Goldilocks and the Three Bears' we are going to write a letter to the bears from Goldiocks.
Talk about Goldilocks and what happens in the story. (Eating the porridge, braking the chair and sleeping in the bed)
Rabbits, Mice, Squirrels - talk about what you would write in a letter and copy writing 'Love from' and 'Goldilocks'
Copy and write in your book
Foxes, Owls and Hedgehogs - in your book copy 'Dear Bears' then write a sentence saying sorry and copy 'Love from Goldilocks'

Maths time
Sing some counting rhymes together
Rabbits and Mice Count how many and write the number in your book
Squirrels Count how many and put your numbers in your book
Foxes, Owls and Hedgehogs Count how many, draw them in book and write the total
After lunch
Time to share some stories!
Things to do during the afternoon:

- Draw a picture and talk about it
