Today reception are continuing to learn about subtraction, taking away by crossing out and finding out how many are left.
Y1 are ordering groups of numbers from the smallest to the largest.
Rabbits, Squirrels and Mice
Find some objects to count. Eg. spoons, tins...
Count 5 
and then take away 1, then 2, then 3, then 4, then 5
How many left?
Owls and Hedgehogs - read the number sentences and write them in your books. Draw circles underneath and cross out the ones you need to take away. How many left?
