Thursday 21st May
Good Morning Year 4,
What a beautiful day it was yesterday! Did you enjoy the sunshine? I would love to see your pictures in the sunshine and see what you got up to!
Tonight it is the clap for our amazing NHS and key workers at 8pm. Don't forget to make some noise and show your appreciation for all they do. How lucky we are to have our fantastic NHS!
Thank you to those children and parents who sent lovely messages to show your appreciation for national teacher day. I feel the lucky one as I get to share my days in school with all you wonderful children!
Please see your online learning for today;
Reading Challenge
Please start the day by reading to an adult or sibling for 10 minutes. Discuss the book so far and the events that take place. What do you like about it? What would you change?
English
I have attached two different reading comprehensions for you. You can choose which one you would like to do. One is longer and has more developing questions. It is based on the 'Golden Compass' story and features a young girl called Lyra. Read the text then answer the questions.
Maths
Please complete the second sheet from the Maths money worksheets. Once you have done this I would like you to go onto TT Rockstars.
Art
I would like you to draw or paint a picture of someone/something who have been really important to you during this lockdown period. I would like you to think about why it is you have decided to draw or paint this person/object. It could even be your pet!
HAVE A GREAT DAY!
