Good morning year 2/3

 

I hope you all managed to keep nice and dry yesterday, it rained quite a lot where I am so I had to wrap up when I went outside. How did you get on with Isle of tunes yesterday? Did you make any catchy tunes to listen to?

As it's Thursday today let's not forget to clap for our NHS and key workers at 8pm to show our appreciation for them. It was great to see LB MH PH AP using TT rockstars yesterday! 

 

PE

Lets start off the day with a Joe Wickes workout to get our body and minds going!

 

English

Year 2

I've attached a task about making your own magic box! Before you build it yourself, I would like you to plan what you are going to make and draw what you want it to look like. As a challenge can you label your drawing?

Year 3

I've attached a task about planning your own information about trolls for you to complete. As a challenge, can you use alliteration when describing what a troll eats?

 

Maths

Year 2 - I have attached a Powerpoint for you to have a look at about dividing by 5, and some questions for you to have a go at. As a challenge, do you think you can complete the challenge sheet and solve the word problems? 

Year 3 - I have attached a Powerpoint for you to have a look at and some questions to have a go at about dividing by 4. As a challenge, do you think you can complete the challenge sheet and solve the word problems?

Don't forget to use objects around the house to help you if you need :) Also everyone try to get on TT rockstars as well so you can practice your times tables.

 

Science

I would like you all to get curious as you become a scientist and conduct an experiment to find out about different densities! As a challenge, can you float small objects on each of the different levels and record your findings by writing some sentences explaining which is more/less dense?
