Good morning year 2/3

 

I hope everyone has been enjoying their week so far and enjoying the sun while it has been out. I managed to go for a nice bike ride! Tomorrow is V.E. day so there will be some little activities for you and the weather is starting to look much nicer again now, we should even get some nice weather for V.E. day on Friday.

 

PE

I would like you all to start the day off with a Joe Wickes workout to get your bodies and brains working.

 

English

Year 2 - I have attached a link to an online lesson about identifying and using expanded noun phrases. I would like you all to follow the lesson and have a go at the activities.

Year 3 - I have attached a link to an online lesson with a spelling and grammar focus on adverbs. I would like you all to follow the lesson and have a go at the activities.

 

Maths

Year 2 - I have attached a Powerpoint for you to have a look at and some questions to have a go at about counting the vertices of 2D shapes. As a challenge, do you think you can complete the challenge sheet and solve the word problems?

Year 3 - I have attached a Powerpoint for you to have a look at and some questions to have a go at about comparing statements. As a challenge, do you think you can complete the challenge sheet and solve the word problems?

Also everyone try to get on TT rockstars as well so you can practice your times tables!

 

Science

You are all going to become wizards as you create your own potions, just like my favourite wizard Harry Potter! You will conduct an experiment to make awesome and wonderful fizzy colours! As a challenge, can you answer the questions about your experiment? Don't forget to send pictures into [email protected] so we can see how awesome your potions are!
