We only have one week until half term. So keep on going!

Choose a session from the PE folder and carry out a physical activity. If the weather is nice try and get some fresh air and do some physical exercise outside whilst it is still sunny. Why not go for a walk? Go for a bike ride? Enjoy that sunshine and get active.
Spelling Monday 18th May 2020
I can put my year 5 and year 6 tricky words into a sentence.

Have a go at using the Look, Cover, Write and Check method to learn how to spell the words which are underneath. Write down the words that you have learnt in a sentence. Remember that you need to be able to spell these words by the end of year 6.

I would like you to click on the link in the grammar folder. Today's learning is all about using the correct punctuation and being able to use hyphens and dashes. Click on the first video clip which talks about the importance of using accurate punctuation in your writing. Then watch the second video clip which talks about the difference between dashes and hyphens. Then complete activity 1 - the drag and drop activity to test your knowledge on dashes and hyphens.

Today, I would like you to continue to learn all about finding the area of shapes. This time though, it is finding the area of parallelograms. First of all, read the learning reminder which is all about the area of parallelograms. Then complete the questions and check with the answer sheet.
