Friday 19th June
Good morning year 2/3
I hope you all had a lovely day yesterday. How did you get on with the PSHE yesterday and did you find out any interesting facts and ways to play? I really enjoyed looking at the work that AM sent in with a lovely picture of her house. I also enjoyed reading all about your favourite music and why you like it. Also, it was great to see MH and PH on TTRockstars yesterday. It would be brilliant if you could try and have a read over the weekend. I hope you all have a lovely weekend, hopefully the sun will come out again soon.
I would like you all to start the day off with a Joe Wickes workout to get your bodies and brains working, or you can go for a walk and see if you can spot any animals and what habitats they live in.
Year 2 - I have attached some tasks with the start of a story about a mystery underneath the ground. I would like you to have a go at the sentence challenge where you will be using inverted commas to include speech in your writing. As a challenge can pick another task and try to complete it as well as well?
Year 3 - I have attached some tasks with the start of a story about mystery underneath the ground. I would like you to complete a minimum of 1 task, you can do which ever task you like, but you can do as many of them as you like. As a challenge, can you use the story starter and write your own story? In your story can you include inverted commas for speech and any fronted adverbials or expanded noun phrases?
Year 2 - I have attached a link to a lesson where you will be learning about the properties of 2D shapes. I would like you to follow the lesson.
Year 3 - I have attached a link to a lesson on multiplying and dividing by eight. I would like you to follow the lesson.
Also everyone try to get on TT rockstars as well so you can practice your times tables!
I would like you to follow the link and pick a video to follow while it teaches you how to draw. It would be great to see how you get on over the weekend, so don't forget to send your work through to [email protected].
Have a great day and a lovely weekend.
Mr G :)
