Wednesday 3rd June

Good morning year 2/3

I hope you are all got on well with yesterdays online learning. Yesterday was another lovely, sunny day and I hope you all had a great day and managed to enjoy the sun!  It was great to see LB, PH, MH and JR on TTRockstars yesterday.

How did you get on with the English yesterday? Did any of you have a go at drawing your own graffiti pictures? It would be lovely to see some of the work you have been doing and what you have been getting up to, so don't forget to send you work through to [email protected]

PE

I would like you all to start the day off with a Joe Wickes workout to get your bodies and brains working, or you can do some outdoor exercise and enjoy the weather.

English

Year 2 - I have attached some tasks with the start of a story about a solitary existence. I would like you to use the story starter and have a go at writing your own story. Can you use adjectives to describe in your story? As a challenge can you try answering the questions as well?

Year 3 - I have attached some tasks with the start of a story about a solitary existence. I would like you to complete a minimum of 1 task, you can do which ever task you like, but you can do as many of them as you like. As a challenge, can you use the story starter and write your own story? In your story can you include any fronted adverbials or expanded noun phrases?

Maths

Year 2 - I have attached a Powerpoint for you to have a look at and some questions to have a go at about subtracting 1 digit numbers from 2 digit numbers. As a challenge, do you think you can complete the challenge sheet and solve the problems?

Year 3 - I have attached a Powerpoint for you to have a look at and some questions to have a go at about addition and subtraction with 2-digit and 3-digit numbers. As a challenge, do you think you can complete the challenge sheet and solve the problems?

Also everyone try to get on TT rockstars as well so you can practice your times tables!

PSHE

In today's lesson, the Prime Minister has contracted COVID-19 through shaking hands during his official work. We must step up as his Deputy Prime Minister to lead the country by way of a formal public letter of guidance. The lesson works towards creating leaders - where we must think about how to provide the most relevant information in order that it influences people to act responsibly, collectively, and effectively. This guidance as a leader will help reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission, thereby saving lives!

Have a great day

Mr G :)
