Good morning year 2/3

 

I hope you are all well, it was lovely to see pictures of your science experiments and baking yesterday! Don't worry if you didn't get a chance because I'd still love to see some more amazing pictures and you can do them throughout the week too! It was great to see TA MA LB MH PH AP using TT rockstars yesterday! 

 

Maths

Year 2 - I have attached a Powerpoint for you to have a look at about dividing by 2 and some questions for you to have a go at. As a challenge, do you think you can complete the challenge sheet and solve the word problems? 

Year 3 - I have some questions to have a go at about the 3 times table. As a challenge, do you think you can complete the challenge sheet and solve the word problems?

Don't forget to use objects around the house to help you if you need :) Also everyone try to get on TT rockstars as well so you can practice your times tables.

 

English

Year 2 - I have attached part 3 of Pandora's Box. I'd like you to have a go at reading the text about Zeus, afterwards you can draw what you think Zeus looks like. Once you've done this, you can answer the questions about Pandora's Box and complete the task about the new vocabulary. As a challenge, can you use the new words in your own sentences?

Year 3 - I would like you to complete the adverbs game and the drop in game, continuing on from the truth about trolls that we started last Friday. As a challenge, can you think about what other sections could be added to the truth about trolls text and write your own?

 

Science

I would like you all to get curious as you become a scientist and conduct an experiment to find out which materials can dissolve in water! As a challenge, can you create a table to record what you have found out from your experiments?

 

Art
