Good morning year 2/3

 

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend and was able to enjoy the sunshine while staying safe. It was great to see TA MA LB MH PH AP JS using TT rockstars over the weekend! 

 

Maths

Year 2 - I have attached a Powerpoint for you to have a look at about making equal groups by grouping and some questions for you to have a go at. As a challenge, do you think you can complete the challenge sheet and solve the word problems? 

Year 3 - I have some questions to have a go at about dividing by 3. As a challenge, do you think you can complete the challenge sheet and solve the word problems?

Don't forget to use objects around the house to help you if you need :) Also everyone try to get on TT rockstars as well so you can practice your times tables.

 

English

Year 2 - I would like you to have a go at reading the story starter about Robin Hood and have a go at answering questions 1, 2, 3 and 4

Science

I would like you all to get a bit creative and follow the instructions for the experiment to create some fireworks in a glass! It would be great to see what you have made so don't forget to send it into [email protected]! 

 

Also it would be lovely if you could all have a go at baking some cookies by following these instructions (under adult supervision) https://www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/vintage-chocolate-chip-cookies

As a challenge can you decorate or add anything to them? I made some chocolate orange ones!
