Good morning year 2/3

 

How are you all doing? I hope you are all well. It was great to see TA LB, MH, PH and AP getting on TTrockstars yesterday. 

While I was out on a walk today, I saw lots of different mini beasts, have you noticed any while you have been outside?

 

English

Year 2 - I have attached some tasks with the start of a story about some magic biscuits for you to try. I would like you to complete a minimum of 1 task, you can do which ever task you like, but you can do as many of them as you like. As a challenge, can you use the story starter and write your own story?

Year 3 - I have attached some tasks with the start of a story about explorers for you to try. I would like you to complete a minimum of 1 task, you can do which ever task you like, but you can do as many of them as you like. As a challenge, can you use the story starter and write your own story?

 

Maths

Year 2 - I have attached a Powerpoint for you to have a look at and some questions to have a go at about fact families. As a challenge, do you think you can complete the challenge sheet and solve the problems?

Year 3 - I have attached a Powerpoint for you to have a look at and some questions to have a go at about adding and subtracting multiples of 100. As a challenge, do you think you can complete the challenge sheet and solve the problems?

Also everyone try to get on TT rockstars as well so you can practice your times tables!

 

Science

While I have been out on my walks and bike rides, I have seen so many different mini beasts and noticed how they can be found in different places. For your task today, you will become an explorer and have to go for a bit of an exploration as you conduct your own mini beast hunt! Can you explore outside in your gardens, parks or on your walks and see how many mini beasts you can find? You can record your findings on the sheet I've attached. As a challenge, can you create your own table to record your findings?

 

Art

Can you create a stone mini beast of any mini beasts you saw while you've been outside?
