Good morning year 2/3

I hope you all had a lovely weekend. Did you get up to anything nice? Also, did anyone see the thunder and lightning last night? What books did you read over the weekend and did you discuss them with an adult?

 

Reading

I have attached a link to a summer reading challenge website, fill in the details and see what rewards you could get.

 

English

Year 2 - I have attached a spelling and grammar sheet for you to try. If you are feeling like more of a challenge then have a go at the 3 star sheets.

Year 3 - I have attached 6 spelling and grammar sheets for you to try over the next few lessons. I would only like you to do the second one today. If you are feeling like more of a challenge then have a go at the 3 star sheets.

 

Maths

Year 2 - I have attached a link to a lesson on finding half of a shape and an amount. I would like you to follow the lesson.

Year 3 - I have attached a link to a lesson on finding adding money. I would like you to follow the lesson.

Also everyone try to get on TT rockstars as well so you can practice your times tables!

 

Science / Art

Today is an exciting day, zoo's are reopening after 12 weeks of closure. This is especially good because lots of zoo's were facing closure as no-one could go to them. Your challenge will be to make up your own toptrumps card about a zoo animal. You will have to research some facts on the animal and create your own facts to include. Once you have researched your animal, you will have to draw a picture of them on the top trumps card template I've attached.
