Yesterday we started learning about the life cycle of a frog.

Can you remember how it changes?

Look at the power point and talk about the stages.

Frogspawn, tadpole, froglet and frog

Rabbits, Mice and Squirrels

In your book draw the stages and copy the labels

Read and say together.

Can you point to the tadpole?

Can you point to the frog?

Can you point to the frogspawn?

Can you point to the froglet?

Foxes, Owls and Hedgehogs

Answer the questions about the life cycle of a frog and write the answers in your book.

Write the answers as a sentence.

Maths time

Join in with the counting!

Rabbits, Owls, Squirrels, Hedgehogs and Mice

Today we are going to find out more about doubling.

Grow ups ask your children to show you doubles using their fingers.

'Double' showing the same on both hands.

Double 2, double 4, double 1, double 5, double 3

Rabbits, Mice and Squirrels draw the dominoes in your books and make them into doubles. The same on both sides.

Owls and Hedgehogs complete the domino sheets. Copy the double number sentences into your book.

After lunch

It's story time!

This is a story with a frog in it, enjoy!

Things to do during the afternoon:

  • letter formation in your books
  • spellings (use the word lists in your pack) Foxes and Owls choose 2 words and make and write a sentence.
  • reading time (little books and lotto words)
  • go onto phonic play and play some games

Remember to have some outdoor time either go for a walk or out in the garden. You might need wellies today!

Or a dance to your favourite songs!

To finish off the afternoon make a frog picture.

This might help. It is really tricky!

Have lots of fun and keep looking after each other.

If there are any stories or topics that you would like me to plan for let Mrs Reek know.

Miss you all lots and see you tomorrow
