Ripple Effect Beyond Forest School
Here at The Grove Forest School is a child-centred, outdoor intervention delivered in a natural environment. Sessions provide structured yet flexible opportunities for experiential learning, cooperative play and supported risk-taking. Pupils are supported to develop social and emotional skills through meaningful, real-life experiences, with a strong emphasis on positive relationships and emotional safety.
Forest School is an evidence-informed approach shown to support emotional wellbeing, social skills and engagement, particularly for pupils with SEMH needs. The outdoor, low-pressure environment reduces anxiety and provides natural contexts for developing social competence and self-regulation, supporting inclusion and improved access to learning.
