Online Safety

It is really important that children remain safe and secure while using technology.

E-Safety is a major focus; not only in our pupils' computing lessons, but right across our curriculum.

We teach our children how to use technology safely and responsibly - both within and outside of school.  Since pupils have increasing access to technology beyond school (computers, mobile phones, tablets etc.), it is vital that they are taught to use these safely.

Our three main aims of E-Safety in school are to:

Empower – we want to empower our children to keep themselves safe online

Encourage – we want to encourage our children to be responsible online

Engage – we want to engage with our children so they understand the risks, and also the benefits, of online communication
